This was such a beautiful and calming game and I definitely loved the twist at the end. Great job on the settings and the pixilated art!

wasn't sure what this game was about when i clicked on it, but i'm glad i did. loved it.

(+3)

It so simple and yet so special and piecefull... Thanks a lot for the game!

awesome ! best 10 minutes this day. wonderfull :)

Just stumbled on this gem by chance. I love the esthetics, mood and music. What a beautiful little game. Cheers

That was a really short game but still an awesome experience! I absolutely LOVED the aesthetics and the cute storytelling. Great job! :)

On a side note, would you like to have the game translated to French for free? I think it could be a nice additional feature to a desktop version.

Thanks for your offer, but I don't think it's worth bothering. Also the font in the game doesn't support diacritics anyway :)

This was a really neat little story, and I really liked the music.  I left it running for a good 10 minutes after finishing the game just to listen to it and chill.

very compelling and unusual. I'd like to see more of the world where this is set.

Excellent game with a charming story, excellent visuals (love the abstract shapes of player & NPCs and the beautiful backgrounds)
Great job!
Is there any chance for a desktop version (preferably linux x64 version ;-) ). I prefer to download excellent indie games since web versions can easily vanish....

(+1)

Thank you. I will add desktop versions of the game a bit later (but not linux, sorry, I don't have one).

(+1)

Amazing, thanks for the experience

fantastic game

very engrossing. loved playing it.

Fantastic as usual. Great work, watabou.

(+2)

Great work thank you!
(a tiny note: when you go full screen you can see the landscape before e after the train)

Thanks, fixed!

Wonderful little story. Reminds me of the old "Another World", the DOS version, that came out so long ago. Fantastic! Please keep it going. I hope it is easy to code. If it is long enough it would certainly warrant putting it up on an App store and going commercial. Great job!

when i saw jake for a second i was just like "w- wh- um ok" but this is a great little story/game ;)

Such a great little experience! I love the mood, the art, the story, the length. Pure, short and straightforward piece which still did not fail to leave that lingering warmth in my heart and mind that is the mark of great story-driven games. 10/10

I like the fact that you actually get to talk to people.  That little feature of adventure games seems to get ignored a lot lately.  However, a little more puzzling might have been nice.  I would really like to see a full fledged game done in this graphical style.

(+1)

This is reaaaally amazing, I literally made this account just to tell u that! 💖💖

Nice! Short trip, but definitely worth the few minutes :-) I like how you made me feel for every destination and the people who are visiting. Nice story building! And even thought it was a bit of a weird ending, still, it was surprising enough to make me think a little bit. This could be the start of a really good adventure!

(+1)

love it !

(+1)

Beautiful!

(+2)

Nice. Lovable pixels and sounds.

Kudos! However...

SPOILER:

WHile Jake could be a good pal, I was hoping for something more emotional. My father, maybe. Or a long dead dog of mine. A friend gone.

A courious giant-thing... dunno.

(+4)

Really? I thought it was a great twist that added to the growing weird atmosphere of the world. Also, who's to say the giant-thing isn't the player's pet, dog, friend or father? :)

(+1)

Superb execution. Really good fun.

(+2)

Interesting, now I want to see more of the places I visited in the game...

(+1)

Awww this is so adorable! Even this game only took like minutes, but this game had a lot of world building going around and had a lot of potential. I really love this short trip!

(+1)

gotta love the adventure time references

(+1)

Absolutely wonderful!

(+1)

Lovely!

(+1)

Lovely little game, as usual :)

(+1)

What a wonderful trip!

The conductor says "We're almost there", what am I supposed to do?

Ok, that took a long time. Nice game though. Pixel Dungeon 2 when?

(+1)

Neat! :)

(1 edit) (+2)

Very chill :)
