I apologise if this is answered somewhere, but I've been looking and can't find how to export as SVG. I only see the PNG option. How can I export as SVG?
Ope! Found it in a forum post shortly after this! For anyone who is also led here it's Menu > Settlement > Export As.
Loving he new update! I always get so excited when there is one but this one is just great. I can finally tell the generator how many roads I want :D
Is there possible way to zoom? Great service, thanks. I am using this for months for my DnD games and if there is a way to zoom, i want to how. If there is not, i want to know why not
Currently it is not possible to zoom due to some technical issues which I hope will be resolved one day.
I absolutely love this generator! Thanks so much for putting the effort into it :) Is it possible to export and re-import points of interest? I can get the URL to get the main map back but the points of interest get lost. I can also export the JSON but they don't seem to get re-imported from the JSON.
Until a proper save/load functionality is implemented, the only thing I can offer is to create a list of points of interest externally (like this) and load it (Settlement > Landmarks > Load) when you need it. The items from your list will be distributed across a city randomly. It is not very convenient, but it's better than typing in all the names every time you regenerate a city.
Does it need to be a text file, and are the quotes required? I cannot get word docx documents to work.
It needs to be a JSON file containing a single array of strings, therefore quotes are required and so are square brackets at the beginning and at the end of the file. See the example: link. Docx definitely won't work (since it's XML, not JSON).
This is a great update, thanks for continually improving on it!
My party love their new town. Great to have SVG support so I can drop in and make modifications in Inkscape. Thanks!
getting better and better!
Well done! Thank you!
